I am in the market for a good set of tires and was seriously wanting to go up to 35s , what problems can I anticipate, currently have 285/75/16 on it but my rim's are shot , any ideas
..... I put 35x12.50 general grabber ATs on this...should fit your stock wheels... there quiet and wear great...in my opinion a decent tire with a decent tread...
Toyo Open Country 285/75R17. About 34.1 inch diameter. I put them on some Ford factory 17" alloy takeoffs that I found on Craiglist. Eastwood Satin Black wheel paint. Chrome lug nuts from newer Ford truck takeoff.
Just put some yokohama geolandars GO15 285/75/18 Amazing traction and ride quality with zero vibrations or road noise. Came from 285/75/18 duratracs and was not happy with the ride.

‘Welcome to FTE.
Anytime you go to a larger tire, you’re going to see additional wear on steering components. Depending on how big you go you may rub at full lock. You just need to stay on top of maintenance and check your steering components regularly. I would go through the front end just before you put the new tires and wheels on.
Ive been running the Falkens and have been very impressed. Here’s my thread on their performance.
This is what I put on my truck 2 years ago and they've been a good tire so far. My truck is an 03 F350 XLT SC 4x4. https://www.discounttiredirect.com/b...sa-all-terrain I bought them on sale when they were at $97.00 each, so for the price I think it's a good deal.
