Hello everyone,
my name is Axel, 49 year old mechanical engineer from Germany. I just bought myself a '73 F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special in San Diego.
Right now I can hardly wait for her to be shipped all the way to northern Germany ;-)
I guess I will come up with lots of questions sooner or later, so I am really looking forward to be part of this community and to have some interesting discussions.
There was a squidbillies episode with a ride called The Yuri's Androp-off, it looked like a hammer and sickle made me think of this. I can't find the video for it.

Hi, Axel and welcome to the forum! Congrats on your purchase. Lots of know legible and friendly folks here as well as informative and insightful discussion threads. Feel free to reach out if any questions appear!
I'm new to this board and I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Alex and I'm from Munich, Germany.
After owning a couple of old Mustangs, I felt like it's time for something completely different. So I decided for a 74 F100 Ranger XLT with original paint. It has the 460 engine and the camper shell. A really nice truck.
Perhaps it might seem familiar, it was for sale a couple of months ago on ebay.
Now I want to detail the engine bay to original standard. So if you have some pictures of completely stock engine bay, please let me know!!

Since this is an introduction page, you won't receive many responses here. But, if you ask your question in the "Older, Classic and Antique Truck section, you will probably receive plenty of responses.
Don't forget, we have an "International Region", section, where you can find other members from Germany.
