Exhaust hangers

Was under the truck greasing things and crawled around the truck just checking thiings out. And i noticed an exhaust hanger bracket/clamp was rusted in half.

I'm seeing a lot of 'universal' brackets, but can't seem to find exact replacements.

This exhaust hanger bracket is mounted mid truck, just ahead of the cat, on the passenger side main frame beam.

I've tried tasca, carrid, ebay, etc.....any suggestions?

Also, who has or where can i find a full blown parts schematics for the excursion?

I'm thinking this will work. The rod is threaded so the length can be adjusted.

That solution looks very similar to what I welded up on mine, except mine isn't adjustable with the threaded rod.

Service manuals are available on E-pay or various other suppliers; many have electronic versions if you don't need a book.

Hopefully this works. I never uploaded files before. Here is a schematic I found somewhere of the Excursion exhaust parts numbers. Good luck

I think this is the bracket you are looking for listed on ebay - ford part 5G269. This is what I had to replace on my exhaust and it looks identical to your photo.

I just saw this!. I also just got back from advance auto and bought a 3" clamp and a universal hanger. I also bought some 12" rod for hangers that i was going to bend into 'something'. lol. So i spent $30 on mismatched pcs to make a hanger, and i just bought the actual oem part in that ebay link. Looks like i'll be fixing it one way or the other.

THanks!!
