Anyone using the Full Tilt IFS? I had planned on going with the Heidts but I see Full Tilt has Ford in Ford lower control arms. That means Ford engine in Ford frame. Moves stuff around so you can use a front sump oil pan. USA made!
I have not, I did watch his videos and think his Ford lower control arms offer a good alternative to the standards. I spoke to him by phone and he's very helpful. He was offering free shipping during the holidays, I don't know if it still applies but that could save you a few hundred. I know I really didn't provide you the answer you were looking for but I hope It still helped.
I have the full tilt you weld it crossmember with their ford into ford lower arms. Everything went together well and was built well. No complaints from me. Customer service was also great. I used there big brake kit, but didnt actually install the calipers on the truck for over a year after I bought them. I did paint them right when I got them though so they wouldn't rust. When I went to install them, one caliper had a different size banjo bolt in it. I gave them a call, and they swapped it out for me no questions asked. I told them that it was painted, and they let me swap it anyway!

Sorry, I'm old and not that smart, what do you mean by "Ford in Ford lower control arms "and "Ford engine in Ford frame". How does that move stuff around so you can use a front sump oil pan? Is it not usually the cross-member that is in the way ? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply and the link.
Not a good picture but this is a Heidts economy kit into a '51 with a 460 and I had no problem with the lower control arm clearance
Full tilt kit the same as the cpp kit? Looks exactly the same.
Not sure. I looked at their web site but it hard to determine what comes with it and what does not. Most everything says "shown with optional equipment". They sell Heidts also.
