How often do your replace DPF exhaust?

My truck has 80K milets and it keeps regen frequently and 2 times this past year it went to 'overlimit get service.' Would a new exhaust work?

i don't want to delete the dpf but wondering what my option is.

BUT, if I end up delete my DPF can I leave my EGR alone?

You could find a low mileage DPF from someone who had deleted. If you choose to delete though, you better do it pretty quick. The EPA has been cracking down on the manufacturers. I have read about certain companies doing a DPF clean out. Not sure if it can be done on ours though, since they weren't designed to be serviced like they should have. 80k miles isn’t really a lot unless you have a ton of idle hours. A good friend of mine has around 275k miles on his F-250 and has never had a problem out of his truck or the emissions system.

I found this here on FTE. This is a Ford DPF service kit. I have never contacted them. Let us know if you contact them and what they say.

That's not what you think it is. The equipment they are selling is just shy of 75k. Yes you can bake and clean the Ford DPF but you can't wait until its melted and destroyed.

Listen, I was just posting it up to help the guy out. It looks like just the kit to make the DPF section removable and serviceable. Not acting like I'm an expert here...

Ran across this a little while ago. Some good info in the beginning, but skip ahead to the 18:10 mark and hear what he has to say about our DPF.
