The instructions address drop in liners. Mentions some trimming may be necessary
Sounds reasonable. Found a possible bargain for a new on one eBay but awaiting a reply as to whether it'll fit my 2019 and whether the shipping cost will negate any savings. It'd be nice to throw a chain and some straps into something like this instead of having a milk crate full of stuff in back.
But reading through this thread someone brings up a great question about a driver side box blocking the LED. Sounds like it will in the closed position and I'd rather avoid that. Fairway has some for the passenger side. My experience with Fairway for both parts and advice/help with self installing Ford remote starts has always been very positive.

Ive got everything under the rear seat but it's not easily accessible with car seats strapped in. I found this to be a good solution without being intrusive. Mine came from Fairway Ford on eBay for $199 free shipping.

I wish I'd saved the item because I can't find it again. But there was a supposedly brand new driver side unit for $125 plus shipping on eBay. That's the one I was waiting for a reply on. I've decided to go with passenger side so that other one might be a deal for someone else here on the forum if I can locate it again.
I've had probably 4 or 5 transactions with Fairway over the years. Never a bad experience.
Edit: Found the eBay box. It says $8.20 shipping but that sounds a little off to me. At any rate here's the link if anyone else is interested. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-F250-P...-/192885779346
Seller only has one feedback under his or her belt and that apparently was over a year ago. So proceed with caution.
That eBay listing just seems a little hinky to me. I went with what I know and ordered from Fairway's eBay listing. They only had 4 remaining for passenger side (now 3) so I jumped on one.
Appears that these shouldn't interfere with any sort of 5th wheel set-up... anyone seen/running both?
Having one on the drivers side would interfere with the factory plug but other than that I think they would be fine. They are easily removable also for those situations. In addition you can put a padlock on them to prevent them from swinging out or being stolen.
I was checking the web site at the local dealer. There is a right hand side, and left hand side. Which one is passenger side? lol.
Also, I didn't find anything under the F-350, but found it under 150. Are they one and the same?
Anyone use this with a truck camper, or know if it protrudes beyond the wheel wells? I have fractions of an inch to spare on either side loading the camper in.
Installed mine this morning. Here's a couple of pics of the trimming I had to do to the drop in plastic liner. Made the existing hole around the Box Link larger to be able to get the bolts out without dropping them between the liner and the truck bed as well as being able to fit the bracket up to the Box Link plate. Also made 2 slots in a rib on the liner for the bracket to slide into. Sure glad I've got one of those oscillating multi tools. Might have been a bitch with a utility knife!
The Box Link didn't seem to want to slide down far enough inside of that bracket to reinstall it so I didn't bother. It won't really be used with the tool box there anyway.
