Motorized Bead Roller....Cheap!
A couple of months ago, l purchased a Woodward Fab Bead Roller. It’s very similar to the ones Eastwood and Harbor Freight sells.
I saw how other people had motorized theirs by various means, such as, garage door openers, pipe threading machines, wiper motors, etc.
Most of them depended on chain drive, to get the RPM down to a usable range.
I decided to use a cheap HF variable speed drill and an engine flex plate as the heart of my modification.
Just, another way to skin a cat!
I have it detailed in this video. The bead roller, that is, not the cat!
