The flange in front of the CAT seems like a good place to start and remove it from there.
Does anyone know of someone who makes a straight pipe with this flange to replace the CAT ?? If so who ??
Then I could go with a BTM and have my complete exhast.....
Thanks
Instead of replacing the cat with a staight pipe , you could gut the cat and put it back on . Remove the cat , use a long bar or pipe to break up the medium and dump it out and remount the empty cat .
I used a 1" spade bit with an extention.that stuf inside is kinda soft so I just drilled a bunch of holes in it and beat the rest of it out.The hard part is getting the exhaust pipe apart.Soke it down good for a couple days befor you do it it will help.
I had a problem with my cat resonating and making a very annoying droning sound after I gutted it. I ended up cutting the flange off of the cat and welding in a straight pipe. If you do gut the cat, you might want to put a pipe inside it to eliminate any resonance. I haven't heard anyone else complain about it though, so maybe it was unique to my setup.
