Nice truck! My work pickup is a 2012 F-150 XL with the 3.7. Even the XLs are nicely equipped anymore - power windows, locks, mirrors, etc. Adding remote start is only $130 for the factory system.
For a 2012 to have only 65k on it and to be pretty clean rust wise for a Vermont rig made it worth it. Hopefully they are accurate that it only needs rear brakes.
Just here at the shop minding my own business. Yeah been kinda crazy around town today. I am not sure if they have cleared the school yet or not. Police, fire dept and swat was up at the school. We have to go back to school sometime to get Jase's stuff as he couldn't go back to his locker or anything. Just got the kids out of the school and over to the UMM.

Hopefully they are right. I just had a buddy buy a truck sight unseen at an online auction. The only thing they said was wrong was it was a little under powered. That turned out to be the easy fix. The brakes were all completely shot and rotors were as badly warped as I have ever seen, rear axle seals leaking, front wheel bearings bad, front 4x4 u-joints were shot......the list goes on. Only good thing is he got it cheap enough that even fixing all that he is still money ahead. Good luck!

definitely didn’t get it cheap enough to be ahead on al that work.
Question, the excursion has limited slip in the rear. Recently when in snow and spins I’m getting a lot of shaking when it spins. Does it need more friction modifier? I haven’t changed the fluid in the rear for 4 or so years. Thank you

You could try adding another one. In all my limited slip ones I drain the synthetic fluid out and fill it back up with just standard fluid and add two bottles of modifier. That has fixed a lot of chattering problems for me.
Good morning guys. Doin' a lap through to find the Jan thread. Happy new year! Kids go back to school this morning. Low-key break - I took a few days off. Was able to get a batter problem on the family SUV fixed last week after having intermittent starting problems for a couple years! That was a win. Hope you guys are off to a good start.

Went snowmobiling in the Lake Mille Lacs area this weekend. Mixed review on the trails. Some were great and a lot weren't even groomed yet this year.
Good morning Jay! Surprised they hadn't even groomed yet. Must be waiting for more snow......
