My truck rides like crap and the front bump stop only has a couple inches before it hits the pad. I have thought about getting some Tremor 6.7 springs for the front but I don't know if it would actually improve the ride quality any. Right now it is hard to tell this truck even has any suspension. It's a base XLT CC 4x4, 100% stock, with 6.7 engine. Payload is 2,330 on the sticker.

Check your door panel, it's not payload you are looking for but the gross front axle weight. I will say that going from 4400# front springs to 5200# the ride is great and I have yet to tap the front bump stops. You can check the beginning of this thread for spring codes and spring weights to compare with what you currently have.

For what it’s worth, I did the swap last year. I had 6000lb springs with the snowplow package on my truck. I liked the stance of the truck, but found 6000lb springs too harsh. I replaced them with 4800lb Tremor springs. I was surprised it actually gave me a 1-1/4” lift. I was expecting the ride height to be similar to the plow springs based on what I had been reading. It also made very little difference in ride quality. I would say lowering the pressure in the tires makes more of an affect then changing the springs did.

LC3C-5310-AVA (LAV)/ Door Spring code 66xx- 4,800
LC3C-5310-ATA (LAT)/ Door Spring code 77xx- 5,200
LC3C-5310-ASA (LAS)/ Door Spring code 88xx - 5,600

Non-Tremor
LC3C-5310-APA (LAP)/ Door Spring code PPxx- 4,400
LC3C-5310-ANA (LAN)/ Door Spring Code NNxx - 4,800
LC3C-5310-AMA (LAM)/ Door Spring Code MMxx - 5,200
LC3C-5310-ALA (LAL)/ Door Spring Code LLxx- 5,600
LC3C-5310-AKA (LAK)/ Door Spring Code KKxx - 5,990/6,000

One I’m not sure of is LC3C-5310-AWA. Its a longer length spring similar to the Tremors and lighter weight than the 4,800 LAV one. Maybe someone can confirm, but I’d guess it’s a Tremor 4,400?

Lastly a lot of Ford part sites will translate these “codes” to Ford part numbers that you can order. No logic behind the part number translations but Google can help make this step easy if you need to order new ones.
Thanks Brandon 12686;

I have a 2020 F250 Diesel with the 6000 lb front springs. I ordered the truck new with the Snow Plow Pkg, but sold the Plow because I no longer used it. Now I am looking for a softer ride, and needed the spring info. You provided more than enough info - and I thank you for that. I now know what to look for, and think that the 5200 (LC3C-5310-AMA (LAM)/ Door Spring Code MMxx - 5,200) is what I will search for. I am hoping that one of the local suspension shops will have a set as there seems to be no lack of lifted trucks that have replaced the stock springs with a lifted version.

Thanks again for the info.
