Starter issues
My son has a 96 f150 2wd, auto, 5.0l. The starter is disengaging Too early when he attempts to start it. I thought maybe the battery wasnt pushing enough juice as its only 650 CCA and its cold here in Idaho. I charged it and it didnt seem to help. My other thought is perhaps a bad starter solenoid. I'm probably replacing the starter regardless but my question is what do you all think? Starter or battery?
