no power
hey guys looking for some help i have a 97 f350 7.3. Heres the deal original motor blow due to a wiring issue on injectors from previous owner, so i purchased a 99 7.3 and did a swap added electric fuel pump swapped injectors as they were brand new, valve covers and gaskets wiring was fixed, new sensors turbo swapped etc... now the issue is truck has no power, smokes under load and no boost what so ever. fuel pressure is checked 70- 75 psi, hpop checked idle 700psi 1000psi start up and 2300 2400 under load.what the heck am i missing here? Thanks in advance for any help.

Is the MAP plugged in? Sounds simple but it is easily overlooked. Do have a way to monitor the truck? IE Torque pro or Forscan

Are the injectors the same type? Thought 97 were single shots and 99s Were split shots?

Put 97 injectors in with wiring harness from 97. Change everything over only difference is electric fuel pump not mechanical.

How is it running at idle? Any CEL?

Runs good at idle. Has an intermittent CEL but reader I have wont reddit ordered forscan hoping it will tell me something.

Fuel pressure is 70-75 at WOT ? With no boost, is that per the gauge?
If theres no gauge can you hear turbo spinning after you shut the truck off?

Pressure reading at lower port on fuel bowl. No boost on reading at all on gauge on pillar and no you dont hear it spin after shut down you can watch it spin while running it does sin faster as you rev up but no whistle what so ever this is the 3rd turbo I've tried on truck first was worn out and rattling bad 2nd was fine I believe but doing this same thing.

So I used the forscan on the 97 today not getting any DTC at all which is weird. When I know that the light came on but went back out on it's own. Did the live data stream and everything looked ok except camshaft sensor pids said low on one and ok on other any thoughts? Also turbine shaft reading is nothing.

I pull intake off can watch spin but not well, also there is a turbine shaft reading in forscan.

there is no sensor for turbine shaft speed, you have to manually look at it and use a gauge to measure boost
