Frame the same on all excursions?
After too many drooling years I finally bought my dream truck. One problem the frame is f***ed!!!! sure this question has been asked more then once on here before. I'm terrible at searching, can only find info on excursion vs super duty frames. I have a 2004 6.8 four-wheel drive. Are all the excursion frames the same? year, 2wd or diesel models affect anything? Found a decent parts truck just want to confirm before I buy it.

I believe they are but will have some different stuff attached to them like spring attachment points for a 4WD aren't on a 2WD, 2WD uses coils instead of leaf. There's probably some other stuff different in the front suspension parts so I'd seek a 4WD frame. I don't know of any differences for different engines, but there might be.
