Messed up towing...
Just saw this on MSN and thought I would share.... Scary to think someone thought this was safe....

lots to ponder....
was the trailer empty and the truck didnt have the gvwr to tow it?
was the ticket due to a length violation...55ft in the US which includes the bed length
was the ticket for the driver not having an air brake license
obviously the trailer has a high gvwr...was the ticket for exceeding a combined gvwr and no license for it
was the ticket for administrative things...safty kit...medical exam...fire extingusher..etc

Considering that tow dolly looks homemade, it could also be due to the dolly not having the proper inspection certificates. But since most of that is under the jurisdiction of the MTO, the OPP's ticket was probably something generic, like operation of an unsafe vehicle or something like that.

You're absolutely right! None of them are former truck drivers, none of them have been trained in commercial vehicle safety/enforcement, nor have any of them been trained in commercial vehicle accident investigation.
