What mufflers did you go with? Looks like a nice setup. If I ever move my exhaust out the back, I will have to go under the axle as well. No room to go over, especially with my triangulated 4 link set up. Post a video of the sound if you get the chance. I love a good exhaust note video!

now that it sounds sweet I have a question. I was under the truck while he was installing the system and looking for problems with heat. In a couple of places I have wiring (in loom) and tubing (ss braided) that is within a couple of inches of the exhaust piping... what have you guys done about heat insulation... do I need to be concerned or what kind of clearance is acceptable to prevent problems.. I'd like to find something that can be done to existing location and not have to contend with disconnecting wiring or tubing to add sleeves and such.

thanks
john

If you have a few inches of clearance, I don't think you need to worry about melting anything, especially through a loom. Exhaust pipes get hot, but not so hot that it will melt wires a few inches away. Still, it never hurts to add additional safeguards if you can find something workable.

I know the plastic loom a few inches away is not safe...

I used this also on the wires that run to the starter behind the headers on my SBC.
