Yep, I do every fill up. You're also looking for a conditioner which adds lubricity as since diesel was re-formulated to take out most of the sulpher, the diesel doesn't lubricate the injectors and I.P. the way it used to. R.A.
It is advised by most pump rebuilders to run some sort of additive. I choose the additive put out by Stanadyne which by the way is the same company that makes our injection systems. So who better to know what we need to lube.
Stanadyne has many different flavors to fit your tastes.
They have Performance Formula, Performance Forumula Jr., Lubricity, and Winter Formula. I normally use the Jr. as it meets my needs.
but there are many brands on the market. Walmart even carries some (Power Service Brand). I have not seen any are Meijer's though (they must not be diesel friendly )
