could not be happier as I REFUSE to drill into sheet metal to mount them. With this truck, I am not running over sized tires nor is it lifted what so ever.
I put them on all our trucks because we have alot of gravel roads that we drive and the pavement aren't always the cleanest. I hate the look but I hate rock chips worse.
My wife's truck has the OEM molded ones and I put Gator Back mudflaps on mine. Both do the job and look good.
I ordered a set of Weathertech's for mine yesterday. $4.12 delivered to my door, after using my available points from my Amazon credit card. The Amazon price is $10 more I guess because they are sold directly from Weathertech and they are covering their shipping. I did look at the Ford version but they are $49.95 a pair. I started to order them as part of my truck order but if I remember right the cost was $135. No bargain there. I have always put some sort of guard on every vehicle we own to cut down on the road oil and grime that seems to splatter down the sides without them.
My new truck has the factory flaps. So far I am not impressed.
My 07 had Duraflaps front and back. I'll see how the factory deflectors hold up through the winter and make a decision next spring on keeping them or replacing them.
Can you elaborate on that please? I need to buy mudflaps - how do I get 50% off going through Costco? Thanks!
Not sure what you know about it so I apologize if this is too much info. First, you have to be a Costco member. Second, you call them and get an authorization number. There will be only one dealer in an area that has the program, which in my case is the dealer I use anyway. Their pricing from what I have read here ranges from $500 to $1100 below invoice. I was told $700 on mine but don't have the final price yet. Once you take delivery you complete a Costco buying experience survey and they send you the coupon.
Now, on a somewhat related note, how would you spend $375 in FordPass rewards at the dealership on your new truck?
I am going to make a list of the routine stuff I need (air filters/oil filters) and other stuff than needs to be changed out occasionally and then go spend it all on supplies as I do my own maintenance. Already picked up a few water/fuel drain valves but I paid for those.

Ah, I see. What you are saying is that if you bought the truck through Costco car buying program, you then receive a coupon for 50% off accessories, up to a certain limit. Is that correct? If so, then it really does not apply to people that didn't buy the truck through Costco's program.

Exactly. I still don't know if the Costco program is best for me until I find out how all the programs stack together. Right now it does appear to be my best option. I should know by next week.
My '19 came optioned with the OE plastic molded ones. At first I took them off and it seemed like my truck was constantly dirty afterwards. I reinstalled them but ended up putting Gatorbacks on the rear just because I really like the way they look. Eventually I'll install the front set as well.
