I have used BFGs on many of my trucks but really like the look of the Nittos I just wanted to know if any body has had any personal experience with them.
Thanks.
i used to have bfg's on my bronco, just got nittos for my super duty. granted their japaneze ... but i believe the bfg's are french now anyhow ....
I havnt really had em off road, in the snow, they work ... neither was super in snow. the dont make any excessive noise IMO, and they do look sharp. I have a feeling if you want super traction you would want the more agressive ones, but same would apply to bfg mud terrains.
Basically, i have nothing negative to say, but i have mostly used them onroad .. and used to have my bfgs A/T's off road all the time. Rarely got stuck if you played it smart enough, and i feel same would apply to the nitto ... its not a swamper or mud terrain .. but its about 4 billion times better then the tires that came on the truck.
I have a set of the BFGs on my jeep and sank it down into about 18" of nice thick carolina red clay mud and got out with some decent off roading style of driving. So far no complaints about the BFGs. I am actually looking into getting a set for the 250 also but need to find someone arouond Charlotte that carries them in an 18" rim diameter.
