New truck, new problems
Just picked up a 99 F150 2wd and it has some problems and seeing if they're common problems with common fixes instead of me taking it to the dealership or a garage and paying up
So I'll add some pics but basically here is whats going on:-ABS light constantly on
-Seatbelt light constantly on
-Shift linkage is loose and about 3/4" off at the P R N D indicator selector
-Leaking in cab when raining (above passenger seat)
-Doors/Dome lights do not turn on with doors open
-Remote start works but keyless entry doesn't on aftermarket Python system

Fix the leak and "hopefully the electrical issues will subside....if not... the GEM module is prolly corrupted from water migrating in and dripping on it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ers-issue.html
As far as, the gear selector being off there is a adjustment wheel on the under side of the dash near the steering column that can adjust it back to proper position. IF that does not stay , then there is a plastic clip that hold the adjustment wheel in place, not to spendy or hard to get to.
