Is it possible that some cargo lamps were installed upside down from the factory? My truck only has 17K original (Yes, correct) miles and nothing was every changed prior to my ownership of the vehicle...besides oil/filter/lube... It has had a topper on it it’s entire life and carried a chinook slide in a couple of times. I know something has been carried on it’s back it’s entire life
because the original owner converted the CA truck title to an RV classification in 1972, so legally it would have to have a camper in place at all times to avoid a ticket... The factory diagram shows a reverse orientation... which is correct? My cargo light has never been removed that I can see and evidenced by wax residue around it. Thanks everyone!
