For some reason Ford built a lot of Models that were specific to the state of Pennsylvania. Trucks, Econolines, etc.

F100 would be the normal model code for the general 5,000 Lbs. GVWR
F101 was the 4,200 Lbs. GVWR
F102 was the 5,000 Lbs. GVWR for State of PA.

I'm not sure why. It might take someone with some Pennsylvania specific knowledge from the past. Look through this list and you will see there are lots of examples.

exc. would be the abbreviation for Except or Exclude.

Looks like a 197...6? in your avatar. My Dad had a '76 F250 4x4 Ranger XLT - beautiful truck.
