Curious what causes it on some trucks and not all. If it's a design flaw you would think everyone would experience it or is a question of tire inflation, road condition, speed, towing etc ?

I’m going to guess tires and improper alignment but who knows.

We have had it happen on EVERY solid axle Super duty we've ever had at some point. Had over 15 of them (one kept till 685,000 miles). ONLY true fix is tires and air inflation. we run all 350s now but have always ran 80 psi in rear and 65 psi in fronts. Hankook's are the only tires that have never failed us. Coopers are hit and miss, Goodyear's, Michelins, firestone are all way too weak of sidewall. Occasionally we change the dampener.
