As for discount codes, CM25, FBFORD or FBGM might work.
I can't verify any of these however at it looks like you need to go through checkout. Be sure you pick the correct model. I'd steer clear of the OBDII one and get correct one for your button configuration.
Robb, I owe you a beer. I ordered the behind the switch version this morning. It was on sale for $10 off and both of the last 2 discount codes (FBFORD and FBGM) were valid and saved me an additional 15%. Thanks

There is a 2 wire pig tail that is connected to the negative post on your battery. Disconnect it. It will disable the auto stop/start. It is so much easier than what everyone else is saying to do. Takes 5 seconds.

Very interesting and if it really works without any weird problems with the BCM, definitely better than the other methods and much cheaper than the Eliminator.
Any weird messages or lights on your dash afterwards because that would be very annoying.
I sprung for the Eliminator and the install was easy as advertised.
I agree, very easy to install but not as easy as what the poster mentioned and I’m willing to bet that if this method works the same as the Eliminator without any weird problems, and if it was known beforehand, many owners would have gone this route instead of making said purchase.

no strange anything on mine. just looks like i pushed the button to turn it off.
The small connector on the battery is the BMS. That is why they recommend when using jumper cables or a battery charger to attach the negative to a ground and not on the battery. It supposedly affects the BMS

You're not going to notice anything. It's how the charging system maintains the battery and to some degree affecting MPG by controlling the alternator output. It may be as simple as how long the battery last. You're just defeating the computer taking control of the charging system. Should be fine.
