Bummer, I was trying real hard not to pull the intake. But, I am afraid I might break it with the chain while pulling the motor with it being aluminum and all. It sitting up there like a daddy long legs makes it kind of difficult not to though. Once again, thanks for the info Racerguy!
can anyone tell me about the timing marks on the timing chains on a 5.4.
there are 61 links in the chain and the book says if you can't find the bright links in the chain to divide it in 2. this is very difficult to do with a 61 link chain, is there any way to check them after they are installed. would appreciate any help on this matter..... Thanks
This is a job that I would really recommend getting a manual for. If you search in the forum here you'll probably find more info on it but pictures make it way easier.
