Question 66 Custom Cab instrument cluster

I'm trying to find replacement gauges and parts to restore my custom cab dash. The pic is what I'm striving for as the finished result. I can find the bezel but not the gauges. My existing gauges seem to work ok but are faded. Does anyone know where I can find the oil pressure and amp/voltage gauges on the left and right side or stock fuel and temp gauges?

Since the gauges work, you might consider these from Dennis Carpenter:

I haven't tried these yet, but if the quality is decent, add a little paint for the indicators and the instrumetn panel should look pretty good.

Try going to this web page and then you can left and right arrow through the pictures - Anderson Auto Glass (theastronaut) shows how it is done. I'd point you to his thread but the pictures are blurred there it seems.

The image set makes it look much easier than I had feared. Maybe I'll give the stickers a try. I hate the idea of stickers but it might work.
I've looked at the prices for getting the cluster "re-worked" and it's a couple grand and this truck is a driver, not a show vehicle so I can't justify putting that kind of dough into it. We ain't going to Pebble Beach.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I tried them on the inner fuel and temp gauges. They don't look good IMO, too glossy and the gauges have ridges that the stickers have to be stretched over. I'm planning to remove the stickers over the winter.

EDIT: You can repaint the needles with special paint made for that purpose. I would try that first and see if you can live with the gauge like that. The white tends to yellow while the black fades. There are companies that restore gauge faces, but they're not cheap.

I had the same problem. I took the cluster apart and painted the faces Matt black, the needles fluorescent red and all the original white lines I redid with a white sharpie paint pen. I bought a cheap pair of jewelers glasses from Amazon so that I could see everything up close! Perfect, no...but pretty good considering what I started with.

That looks good! Part of what makes the stickers stand out on my truck is that the outer gauges were NOS. The black is flat black and the white hash marks are thinner than those on the stickers.

I thought about the stickers, but I didn’t want to bugger up the needles trying to get them on. It was actually a fun project with the glasses and paint pen. I figured if I mess up I just re spray and start again! I have the outer gauges but have not done anything with them yet! Here is a pic of the before.

I have 2 extra CC gauge clusters and I think the color is more of an orange than red. But over time red does fade out. I keep leaning towards fluorescent orange just because it is more vibrant.
