Water pump sensor HELP?

Water pump sensor HELP?
I just changed out my water pump on my 2001 7.3, due to it leaking. In the process of removing the pump I broke the sensor. No big deal I bought a new one and replaced it, but know my temperature gauge does not work. Anyone else had this problem if so what is the problem? Thanks

There was a very recent thread about just this subject. Is yours an auto or manual transmission. For the sender on the water pump you should be looking for a SW-5130
