Sync map updates

Received 2 emails from ford about map updates available for my SHO and my Superduty. Are these updates one time use or coded to the vin? Would be nice to buy one update for both vehicles.

All in the effort to make money and if owners have to pay for said map update, each update is tied to the VIN# of the vehicle.

To be honest, if you’ve been happy using the factory navigation and if you also have an iPhone or an Android phone, unless the update is free, I wouldn’t bother with the update because it’s still outdated by a couple of years and the navigation options that are available via your phone are up to date and are constantly updated.
