This picture is with truck in street performance driving for a short distance with the air filter completely removed.

I had one explode one time. I ended up putting an appropriately sized bolt in the filter minder hole to cap it off.

Kinda looks like some intake restriction. Let us know of any/all mods on the truck. For example, AIS intake comes with a lighter duty version of that restriction gauge.
