That's only if your truck has the 68 D 9900 GVWR package. It's basing your max tow weight on a 10% tongue weight for payload purposes, to keep you under the "paper" legal limit of 9900 GVWR, if that makes sense.

Based on the graph you posted. Line you highlighted has the 9900 package footnote. Your door jam sticker states 10,000. Can you share a picture of your trucks rear differential cover? Axle code 31 might mean you have the Dana rear which you be the heavy capacity tow package.
Id have to take it tomorrow. I dont think I have the Heavy Cap tow package. The hitch is only 2.5"..
What would the differential cover look like for standard package VS heavy tow package?
The HCTP comes with the Dana 275 which rear diff cover has a fill plug on it. The Ford Sterling does not. Its fill plug is on the side of the diff housing.
