December 2019 Chat Thread

December is here and the holiday season is in full swing.
The garlic smoked wings were the best. We have not eaten there since the retirement ceremony.
The swelling in my hand went down a lot overnight. Yesterday I could hardly touch my index finger with my thumb, this morning I can almost make a fist.

The wind and rain blew all the leaves off the oak tree in the front yard. The front yard is fenced in so ended up blowing them into a big pile that is waist high, it's going to take a while to get rid of them. Good thing is only not too many leaves landed in the pool. I was able to knock a couple of things out around the house that I wanted to do this weekend. I couldn't hang the christmas lights on the house and little man is a little disappointed. I wasn't going to risk climbing up on the ladder with only one good hand.

The wife ordered me a new grille for the dodge last night, I had already had it in the Amazon cart from a few days ago and she ordered it along with a few other things she need. So I ordered a new emblem for the grille this morning. I already have a new grille sitting in the front seat of the 79 that I have never installed. I'll get started on her when my hand heals up.

Went to reserve a cabana for half moon cay when we go on our cruise next year and they didn't have anymore of the cheaper ones left. Wife said we are not paying $600 dollars for the bigger cabana for 5 or 6 hours, that's insane. I said we will just stay in Orlando 2 more days after the cruise and go to Volcano Bay one of the days.

I went back to the cruise site at lunch and found that they had a small cabana rental available!! I went ahead and bought it just in case they sell out. Because I know it was not showing any over the weekend. Think I will just surprise the wife with it.

They decided to keep a majority of the stitches in till tuesday. My palm is still a little swollen where the worst bite was and they don't want the cut to pop open. Should be good enough for me to hang lights on the house for little man.
We may do a beach trip in the spring but no official planning as of yet. Only trip we have planned right now is the cruise in September.
The new Dodge grille is suppose to be delivered today. The new instrument surround and the new grille badge is coming in early next week.
Wife gets here wisdom teeth taken out this coming up Thursday, even with insurance was close to a grand out of pocket. I will be taking 1/2 day Thursday and all day Friday off to take care of her.

Did the bite get tendon or muscle? A grand a visit will wipe out a bank account fast. The headache is suppose to be here today.

Got a good score today. 2 Budd 22.5 popped up in market place 50.00 for both. Got over there started talked to the guy asked about tires. He friend is in OTR owner operator had some old 11r22.5 at his place so followed him down there got 6 tires for free. Not the best but should work. One has a whole lot more tread than the others. Need to try and find 3 more to match .

She got down deep in the muscle under my thumb, that's the place they are worried about it opening back up. I can live with them for a few more days. My back started hurting at lunchtime and is really killing me now, guess I will put a heating pad on it tonight. Have no idea why it hurts so bad.

The new grille came in for the dodge and I got it installed today, looks much better than the old one. I got the footboard mounted on little mans bed and put his new mattress set on it. His room is really coming along and we are almost done it. We went to Walmart and put a 24 volt Grave digger ride on toy on layaway for him. I will pick it up Monday and keep it at work till Xmas. Tomorrows plans are to clean the leaves out of the pool, clean the gutters and then hang the Xmas lights on the gutters. Hope to also get some of the leaves I have piled up in the yard hauled off to the woods. Need to move the motorhome to it's winter parking spot too.

Glad you able to start doing stuff again.
The church play is going very well . e had a hickup with dry ice the first night. the blower froze up had too much ice in the cooler. Each night we have had 3 people that we know of get saved. during invitation last night at least 7 people raised theror hand that they were lost and needed prayer.

The headche rack came in got it installed.

Scored 2 Budd 22.5 wheels for the dump truck for 50.00 for both.

Sounds like church is going great!
I got all the leaves out of the pool, should have bought one of those scoops with the bag a long time ago.
Little man just got up so getting things done is delayed till the wife gets up. I always make breakfast on Sunday mornings anyway so I will get started on that.
The cluster surround was delayed till today.

I'm glad things are going good for you, my wife totally changed my life so I know how you feel.
We got all the lights hung on the house, I got all the leaves out of the pool. The ones in the yard I would scoop them up and put them in the bed of the truck, it was 4 truck loads but they are gone.

Was at church till after 12. We were tearing down stages and moving props to storage. Between church and Donna my life has changed completely. I was asked to be a filling usher and to join the visitation group.
