Google flood esp... but I kinda remember reading esp is looked at differently in FLA....like insurance?
may have to buy it in state.... Maybe one of the FLA guy will chime in
What dealerships have good deals on ESP for our trucks?
I’m in Florida and was told to go out of state.
You will be charged MSRP living in Florida even if you buy out of state. Most wont sell to you because you need to be licensed to sell them to FL. Best case, you save sales tax.

Florida considers an ESP an insurance policy and whomever sells it to a Florida resident must be licensed in Florida.
Additionally Florida law requires ESPs be sold at list price. No discounts or no premium over list allowed. This law was passed to prevent price gouging.
Saying that, a few out of state dealers are licensed in Florida and buying from them eliminates sales tax. I believe Lombard Ford is one of those dealerships. Plus they may offer 0% financing.
Here is what my bank is offering me on a extended service plan... Thoughts?
Seems to expensive to me for the term you get. Also, the wording on their "Platinum" plan is strange. "Covers a 'covered' repairs except what's excluded." Clearly it doesn't cover NON covered repairs so the statement makes no sense. Is this a JM&A Fidelity plan? They are a solid company with a reasonable reputation.
