Cluster problem.....need help!!
Hi I'm new here and thought I'd go to the forum for advice seeing as my mechanic nor the dealership has any answers.
I have a 2011 F550 4X4 with the 6.7L Diesel engine and a 12 foot dump box for landscaping.
The problem I'm having is that my instrument cluster, radio and all dash lights all of a sudden go out. The blower fan cranks to full speed even if its turned off as well.
The truck drives and stops fine, the turn signals work but they don't indicate on the cluster.
This happens very intermittently. I can go weeks and months without an issue then all of a sudden it happens every few minutes for an hour then no issues again.
The battery light is on the dash but I've replaced both batteries and the alternator. Alternator is putting out enough amps to charge the batteries.
Anyone ever have this issue or have any advice as to why it happens.
