I am having a problem with my 2008 Navigator. Both of my keyfobs and my tpms sensors only work intermittently. Sometimes my keyfob works within a foot or two, or sometimes not at all. I believe that this is a problem with either an antenna or radio receiver module. I am unable to retrain the TPMS sensors as the Navigator will never receive the radio signal.
I had a '96 Ford van that the door lock module had an antenna.
I don't know enough to tell you to buy a new door lock module but it's something to look at.
Some OBD ll scanners will identify body trouble codes. If you can get your system scanned that may help you figure out what is wrong.

Have you replaced the batteries in the keyfobs? The batteries in the tpms sensors tend to last about 10 years, and you are at 11. You have to replace the whole sensor as the batteries are not replaceable.
