This issue just started happening today. It’s not even raining outside and my wipers are still going. I’ve turned off all functions in the truck settings.
The only correlation I see is that I got a rock chip last night. But that still doesn’t explain why all the settings are off but they are still going.
mix in the fact that my sunroof started leaking through my passenger side entry handle.
A friend with an F150 that's a couple of years old showed up in my driveway this summer with the same problem. Wipers kept on running in intermittent mode with no wiper switch on.
We unplugged the battery for about 15 minutes and then he drove off as soon as we hooked it back up. Haven't seen him since so I have no idea if the problem ever got solved.

I might give this a try. Things in my truck have been acting funny since I recently changed the battery in my truck.
Had the same problem before. You need a new turn signal/ wiper switch. Try this when it starts doing it, twist your **** several times quickly on the stalk, stop at off then wait to see if it continues, if it does try it again.

If you haven’t already done so, it’s probably worth reading OM pages 347-348, ”Changing the 12 V Battery”, especially this section:
After battery replacement, or in some cases after charging the battery with an external charger, the battery management system requires eight hours of vehicle sleep time to relearn the battery state of charge. During this time your vehicle must remain fully locked with the ignition switched off.
Note: Prior to relearning the battery state of charge, the battery management system may temporarily disable some electrical systems.
Either got water on a control module or need the multi function switch?
Did the switch on my 2011 (some reason I forgot why now) and it was like $20 or $30.
So I would clean out and check your sunroof drains and be ready to buy a multifunction switch.
I think I figured it out. I’m taking it by the dealer on Monday. However, my sunroof is leaking and it’s on the passenger side. That’s the side the fuse box is on. I think water is getting in the fuse box and causing all sorts of issues.
Today my headlights won’t turn off in auto mode and it’s a sunny day out.
