Well, first time for everything. Damaged the EX. Was backing the TT into the barn and lost track of a tree. Should be fixed for under $900 so that’s a blessing.
Here is a neat trick that works on door dings and hail damage, not so sure it will in your case.
Remove the taillight, then with an electric heat gun heat up the metal slowly (could use a plumber's torch, or a oxy/acetylene you just have to be a lot more careful).
Metal holds memory it might pop back into shape with a little applied heat, depends on how bad the dent is. Looks borderline leaning towards not going to imho from the photo.
First off, that sucks. I have a slight dent in the same-ish spot from PO sliding into a mailbox at 1 mph.....he said he was pissed too. I need to get to the dent Dr. sooner or later. Yours looks bad having cracked the paint.
Second, and this is in a joking manner, how do you lose a tree?? I've had trees jump in my way from time to time, but never lost one. lol. Your next tool purchase should be a chainsaw.
Anyway, at least the tail lights are cheap. Looking forward to the fixed pic. Also, dont let this spiral into a 2017 body upgrade.....
No 2017 changeover. Just found out child number three is on the way.
Lost the tree watching the curb side of the camper as I have to make a 90degree turn into the barn. Chain is fresh on the saw and next weekend the tree is disappearing.
I’m really not too mad about the whole thing. But I do feel a bit silly.

Congrats on 3!!
I usually keep my mistakes to myself unless they can help others.
bummer about the dent there... ironically i have one pretty much identical to it just under the passengerside tail light on my truck... wonder if the PO did the same thing as it was there when i bought the truck...
Aw Carbon, don't be too hard on him because it is not all his fault.
As an Ohio State fan, his head was too big to turn and look at the mirrors inside a small Excursion. LOL!!
Sorry about the dent, we have all been there before. Turn the negative into a positive and use this opportunity to paint the rockers from Pueblo Gold to Nittany Blue!

haha! Yeah it was a dumb mistake, but I can live with it. Don’t know that I could root for any team with blue in their colors.
