I have a 1996 f250 manual transmission, oil is pouring from the behind the fly wheel. Cant make it 30 minutes without putting a quart of oil in. Shop told me 880 for a rear main seal, is it that? Read alot that these tend not to fail but my tricks also running over 350,000 miles. It's an x fire truck out of Oregon so it should have been maintained fairly well. Turbo sounds strong, but I cant full locate the oil leak.
Its most likely my hpop?, turbo was upgraded by mad wheels. What's that going to run me, truck runs well with oil, but when it gets low.my gauge starts flicking from no oil the sitting in the middle.
Might be the turbo pedestal seals leaking, the only way to verify is by cleaning all oil and gunk from the engine valley and observe while engine is on.
