2011 F150 Lariat

Will crank but won’t start checked the #27 fuse it’s good

when you turn the key, does the fuel pump run ? Besides the fuse there have been some reports of the relay #8 above the fuse also failing....... Turn the key to ON, but not crank... Do you hear the fuel pump cycle on ? Does the THEFT light come on for 3-4 seconds, then go off ?

Did you completely remove the fuse and inspect it. I’ve seen some that were obvious (burnt/melted) as soon as the fuse cover was opened when mine went you couldn’t see any damage just looking from the top.

Yeah I did I am trying to replace the fuel pump relay but every time I go to part store they send me home with wrong part

your photos are the oil pan on the bottom of the motor... one photo shows the side of the motor and I don't see any oil on it.. YES, something has failed and the oil all over is the result.. It needs to be washed off, maybe over cleanen or gunk or similar... then hosed off and run to see where the leak is..... but that probably is not stopping it from starting..

again, the question was.... when you turn the key to ON, is the fuel pump cycling on and running for 3 seconds ?

when you turn the key ON, does the THEFT light come on, then go off after 3 seconds ?

a third possibility is something like the crank sensor or other got covered in oil or shorted out or damaged and causing problem.

the fuel pump relay is probably the same as one or more of the other relays ( like the trailer light relay)... you can swap them for a quick test.. IF YOU KNOW the fuel pump is not running.

No sir none of that stuff comes on and I tried the other relays and it is still doing if same thing so it may not be the relay right

well these are two different problems... When you turn the key ON, you should hear the pump run for 3 seconds and build up pressure in the fuel rail... If that does not happen, then you have a bad fuse, bad relay, bad pump.. or no power to the relay/ fuse.

When you turn the key ON and don't start, the THEFT light comes on for 3 seconds, then the computer recognizes the KEY is correct for that truck and the light goes out... If the light does not go out, you have the wrong key.. If the light NEVER COMES ON, then you have another bigger electrical/ computer problem.

are you saying the THEFT light NEVER comes on and the pump NEVER cycles on ? When you turn the key ON, what else do you see on the dash ( lights comeing on) ?
