I went directly through KING Suspension and I believe it was $180, best upgrade for the money in my opinion. I did purchase a longer bolt as I wanted more thread exposed than the one it came with as the photo shows the supplied mounting bolt.
Im running 2.5" level spacer, with adj. track bar, sway bar extensions, Icon shocks professional alignment with no caster shims needed
22x10 Rhinos with 37x12.50 Toyos, no rubbing except full lock backing up over dip on front air dam corner, doesn't rub no after 15k miles with this combo
Why go with king, besides its more expensive...? I mean wouldnt a Fox 2.0 still be way better? Its just a stabilizer...
Depends on what you need it for and how much you want to spend. For the majority of trucks I have seen with high-end kits, the only time they go "off-road" is if they accidently drive over their grass on the way out of their driveway... Here is a quick comparison of the two major brands.
Fox Vs. King
I would say a fox 2 is more than adequate for a SS for most folks.
Rancho, 20 years of buying them, selling them, installing them on bone stock to RADICALlY modified rigs, never had a come back, never had an issue, they make 2 for the Superduty, one based upon the RS 5000 series and the other on the RS 7000 series, they also make a dual shock setup. About $68 / $85
So would installing this help with the stopping of the death wobble? Or as an added prevent to the possible oncoming off the wobble? Thanks.
Personally and I think some will agree, the stabilizer is just that.. stabilizing the wobble... There are underlying issues that are causing it, and the steering stabilizer/dampener is doing its job. Stabilizing/dampening.
So all in all, no that wont F I X the problem, but mask it and help it. Until the stabilizer wears out.
