High boy

I’m not sure it will work but I’d like to take a highboy ford and put a 12v Cummins in it. But here’s the catch I’d love to put a 5 and 4 manual like out of a late 60’s c60 dump truck in it. But I would think maybe the rear driveshaft geometrics would be out of wack because of the length of both trannys and transfer case. Or could you turn the rear end reweld the perches to compensate. Or drop the transfer case a little. I’ve never tried this or run this across to anyone. Not that it’s a deal breakers I can’t put a 5 and 4 in it and it don’t work. but the truck would be Sick af thanks Mark

Using a 5+4 would be useless, only thing you would gain is slow shifting. The NV4500 I have in my high boy leaves only 12" between the t case and the tail of the nv4500.
