I have a question that may seem odd but it's driving me crazy. I have a 2011 F250 King Ranch. I could swear that the switches on the drivers side door panel that controlled mirrors and memory seats once "lit up" when the lights were on. I recently left the window open during a rain storm and notice that afterwards, they were not lit at night. When having some routine work done at dealership I asked them to look at it. They said "working as intended" and were never meant to light. Am I crazy or did I really see them backlit? I believe the two memory seat switches and the round mirror adjustment switches were what lit. Anyone know for sure whether these are supposed to be lit or not? Thank you.
Looking at the wiring diagrams on a 2014 (which should still be the same as your 2011) does not show lights/illumination for the memory nor mirror switches. It does show illumination for the window switches.
Thank you. I swear I must be losing my mind because I could have sworn I had seen that sucker lit up. I'm going to go test drive a 2019 King Ranch tomorrow. I'm curious to see if its switches light up. Thanks again.
