Need some help please
I have a 1989 F-150 w/ a 300 and the 5 speed.. there is this blower that is mounted on my right hand side fenderwell that runs after the truck is cut off. I was told it is a injector blower. What makes this thing turn off and on b/c it runs my battery down and makes it hard to start.. I would say the thing runs for about 20 mins b4 cutting off. What would happen if I unplug it. Some people told me it would clog my cats.. which I don't mind gutting them but if I do gut them will I run into any problems w/ the engine or emissions.. If anyone can tell me what is going on here I would greatly apperciate it.. THANK YOU..
