Backup Camera Quality
Does this look like crap to anyone else? My wife’s 5 year old GMC Acadia has a picture that looks 10x better than this. I’m hoping something is wrong with it and this isn’t just the way it is

It's not saying allot, but when I got my 2019, I thought, wow, this is much better than my 2013 was... LOL
Same here, wife's BMW X5M is like 1080p quality in comparison. You'd think that in todays day and age that it would be better, especially how inexpensive cameras and screens are today.

Yes I was disappointed in the quality as well. I got the 360 camera package. I was hoping to use the chmsl camera for hooking up my gooseneck. If there are shadows or the sun is shining I can't really can't see well enough to trust it. It is definitely the poorest quality of all our vehicles. It is still useful but definitely poor quality. $100,000 truck and $5 cameras.

My brother drove home a new Ram 2500 yesterday, its backup camera and screen quality crushes my 2017 F350's.

Mine is no better then that either. My 2012 F250 camera was better I thought then my 19 is. So bummed out that it's this poor especially after buying the 360 camera package. Then to add insult to injury you cant turn them on unless your going under 5 mph or in reverse. $80K truck with a $25.00 camera system....thanks Ford!

Does anyone know if it's at all possible to upgrade these cameras? I am extremely disappointed in the quality as my 2012 Platinum F-150 had a much better picture. I as well find that the camera's are almost unusable for what they were meant for.

Agree with you wholeheartedly. If I could upgrade the camera or the display I would. The day I drove my truck home I noticed the lack of clarity. I keep cleaning them but it doesn't help.
