Timing 1993 Lightning
Hi,
I have a 1993 lightning.I would like to check the timing on it.
The sticker under the hood says, as well as the service manual.To remove the spout.I can not find the spout.there is only a harness that comes out of the distributor.Also would you recommend moving the timing ahead for quicker throttle response.Can anyone help?

Spout connector is on driverside inner fender taped to a wiring harness under cruise control. It has 2 red wires. Advancing the timing to 14 degrees is common on Lightnings but you should use premium gas to avoid detonation. Have you found the National Lightning Owners Club yet? 93-95 Lightning FAQ.
