I have a 2001 Silverado Z71 with 5.3 liter and quad doors. I get about 16.7 -16.8 mpg on extended highway trips with at least two or three tanks of gas. This is with two to three people and normal luggage.
I want a 4 door(external handles) same type of truck. I want to look a Ford. I hear the old 150s will go at firesale prices with the new 150 coming out. What are the pros and cons of these two vehicles.
What about just going with another Silverado?
I assume the Fords and Chevys are getting closer to being the same in function, quality, and economy. Maybe my ignorance is due to lack of effort to research or just bad information!
