Engine compartment hot wire needed for plow control.

I need to tag into a hot wire in the engine compartment for a plow control that'll come on and off with the key.

The control is only 16. ga.

Anyone know where and what color I can use?

F350, 2002, 7.3.

I would come out of the fuse box, even if it means going inside the cab to get to it. But I think a lot of the newer trucks have a fuse box in the engine compartment too.

Thanks

I just did that it works. I found a grommet that I was able to go though, and finally found some mini fuse tap in clips at a local auto store, but couldn't find the very small spade teminals so I solderd the wire to the clip.

A little more work but that's o.k.

Job done.
