Have you noticed any changes in engine characteristics running their additive? Idle , mpg change..etc.
Might be coincidence, but my engine is quieter, also using Hot Shot's Secret, EDT or Lubrication Engineers Full Torque for added lubricity, etc. I Have noticed a slight improvement in MPG, but mostly a very sharp decline in regens around town. I use my 2016 for everything (well the wife does anyway) and that includes short trips around town quite frequently. Now that the Derringer is installed with the iDash I will be getting some more concrete data on regens and soot loading of the DPF. Not excited about this new wave of EPA enforcement. However I think one can fight it all we want, but the emissions stuff is here to stay.

You are correct. Ill probably end up retiring in Washington state or Colorado if we end up there next and would like to leave my options open as far as the trucks concerned. Besides, I've got a year of factory warranty left and kinda want to see how this EPA crap plays out. In the same sense it might be wise to jump while the iron is hot and some tuning support is still available.
Im avoiding California like the plague because I'd have to lose all of my guns in an "unexpected tragic boating accident" 😁
Leaving your truck stock will lessen the chances for a problem down the road. There are threads all over here where guys have deleted and modified the tunes in there truck only to have issues. I have a 15 and not a single CEL for anything. It is however hard to find a tune so you can defeat the emission systems because the EPA is going after them and will put them out of business. It is a federal crime to modify the emission system is the reason. The feds won't come after you but the tuner shop oh ya. They go after smog shops all the time.

Blah blah blah
dont believe the hype. Most that delete never have a problem. Watch out sky's falling. You can easily find tuners and tunes. You just need to go to the shop in person. Feds should start with whats the number 1 causing emissions problem in the world. Live stock agriculture (cattle crap). It accounts for atleast 32,000 million tons of carbon dioxide per year. 1/2 of united states land is used for livestock and growing feed for livestock. Far exceeds every diesel truck and factory in the world combined. But that wont happen because there is far to much money making in that for the government. Diesel emissions is a tiny drop in the bucket.
I have no remorse for deleting my truck. Government doesnt give a crap about the real problem why should I?
A little off topic but they are facts most people would be surprised to know.

Keep us posted! Definitely interested in that as well. This truck is my DD and my drive to work barely gets the truck to operating temp in the winter. I take the long way just to make sure.
I'm probably in agreement with 90% of people that religous maintenance is key to a long lasting vehicle but, no vehicle is without flaws or something that can be improved upon. Just like ecoboost owners having issues with valve buildup due to switching to direct injection and a bunch of blow by which dictates a catchbcan of some sort. Lets face it, a lot of people whether necessary or not iust like to tinker with there trucks!

Wo0w dude
I see all the time I have a code and second line I have a tune and deleted my truck Maybe you should put your glasses back on and read something blah blah blah

I have been using the ForScan mobile app to monitor regens for about 9 months now. I can say that my regen distance has increased with the use of additives for cetane, lubricity, and FBC.
Thanks for you service!
Never seen thos FilterMags thats really slick. In the past ive epoxied large magnets to the bottom of oil and trans pans. Every time I'd open them up there were always particles near the magnet. Your method seems like it'd be more effective. Might not make a huge difference but it definitely wont hurt.
I've started running K100 through every tank and plan on a fuel air separater as well. The fuel pressure these things run at is crazy and it seems as if any discrepancy in the fuel system will manifest into some other issue. The Jet engines I wrench on at work utilize fuel pressure to run various other components on the engine and if something is out of wack you may be looking in circles to identify the actual issue.
I've ran through the menu on the dash looking to find info on the DPF and when a regen might occur along with the manual regen i keep reading about. Is that something that needs to be enabled through forscan?
All of the drain plugs on my Deere equipment have magnets. Make sense since metal is heavier than fluids. The filter magnets are not proven. Blackstone did a test a few years ago and came back inconclusive. I think you can also attach magnets to your fuel line and atomize your fuel for more power and better fuel economy. LOL "A fuel and his money are soon parted"

Not being a grammar **** but I think it's fool dude.
Ahh, another internet "expert." They also have industrial applications as well. You should see all those fools with big engine generators and large hydraulic systems use them on their oil filters and hydraulic filters in big industry. Appreciate the input though.
