Sputters when going into park

Sputters when going into park
I've got my 01 mazda B2500 with the 2.5 and automatic when I shift it into park it sputters and acts like it is going to die. Then after a few seconds it idles back up. Does anyone have any ideas what could be making it do this?

IAC(Idle Air Control) may be gummed up. It can be cleaned if you are so inclined. I had one car (Sable) that did the same thing, and it turned out to be the regulator for the charging system ....HUH?!?!?!?... replaced regulator, and it worked perfectly.
Remove the IAC, and clean with a carb-spray type cleaner approved for coated manifolds.
