I have an Alpine that replaced the small sync screen. The camera does still work - much better on a full size screen. Surprised that the factory camera is clear and the color is good.
Most any after market radio will need to get a maestro unit to retain all factory systems(steering wheel controls ect)
True. Mine is an Alpine ilx-107 with wireless CarPlay and wiring the maestro was a pain. It was not a beginner install. But the end result is worth it.
