Plowing with 6.7
Any need for concern with the DPF and extended idling time on the gen 2 6.7’s? Is high idle switch necessary? Truck may possibly need to idle for 4-6 hours at any given time during plowing season (while staged/ getting naps in). Thanks guys!

I plowed with a 2017, 6.7 diesel without the manual regen option. Absolutely no issues and my average plow outings are 8-28 hours depending on the snowfall and who needs "help".
I did have my dealer add the DPF status screen to know how close I was to a regen. Many times I "took the long way" to make sure a complete regen could take place.
