KTP Holiday Hours

Hey crew, any idea how long KTP goes down for Turkey this month, and then Santa next month? Whole weeks? Days? Thanks in advance.

Normally they shutdown 2 days at Thanksgiving - Thursday and Friday.
And at Christmas for two weeks.
that is the usual schedule- don't have anything specific to this year.

2 days for Thanksgiving & it looks like 1 week for Christmas as of now. My son works there.
And of course they are producing 2020's now.

Tell you son to watch for mine!
Give him a pat on the back and tell him to keep up the good work!

My dealer told me last week to expect a 3 week shutdown for holidays.
Take it FWIW.

I think I will take the word of Mattm400 over your dealer.

What are the work hours of the plant? Is it just a M-F thing or do they produce on the weekends as well? Do they produce around the clock or just like 12 hours a day or something?

They run 2 shifts a day, 5 days a week. Nearly 24 hours, building 1700 or better per day. Close to 10,000 trucks per week. And they can't keep up.
Back last spring when I bought mine, I remember him saying they were 89,000 behind! That's ALOT of trucks!

Thank you for the insight.
I should give you my VIN then when you son see’s my truck he can put a random piece in the glovebox.
Then we can have a new “what is this part” thread!

Lol, he said when then they used to build the Harley trucks they kept alot of pieces like emblems locked up. Had to scan them when you took them out so they knew who got them and how many.
